"It's Hard to be Human", is the summer single for 2026! From the Bob Gatewood album, "Friends-of-the-Bay", this one is a real banger. It features Bob Gatewood as writer and vocalist, Tom Bukovac as producer and guitarist and to round out the trio of Ohioans it's Shawn Fichter on drums.
It describes some of the foibles of just getting by in today's crazy world and wait 'til you see the killer video that goes along with it, which features a young Bobby G dreaming of baseball stardom along with his scruffy puppy friend and faithful companion. Here's the lyrics:
